Besides the DST series A portable oscilloscopes, TEKWAY has successfully delivered the latest DST series B oscilloscopes, which consist of three subseries: 3000B, 4000B and 1000B. These new products cover the bandwidths from 25MHz to 200MHz, and enable the real-time and equivalent sampling rates between 1GS/s and 25GSa/s. In addition, they embrace up to 1M memory depth for better observation of the waveform finest details. Based on the design of the first-generation DST series oscilloscopes, the TEKWAY R&D team has managed to better satisfy the customer requirements. The B-model series not only optimize features of the A-model series, but integrate more new features, making the new products more cost-effective, efficient and competitive. Up to 1M memory depth and up to 2500 frame wave refresh rate minimize blind-zone impact on accuracy as well as improve signal capture capability, reassuring better waveform restoring. To show the finest details of measurement on the screen, the latest model provides both the fastest refresh rate and the horizontal display at 20 divisions.
| 1、Dual-Window Design -- More Clear, More Detailed |
High-capacity memory depth and dual-Window design (main Window and expansion Window) enable engineers to magnify 40,000 diameters to observe the finest detail. For instance, when setting the memory depth to 1M and time base in main Window to 80us, the waveform in the expansion Window would be magnified to 2ns for observation.
| 2、Automatic Cruise Feature – single press available|
In the dual-Window mode, the B series functions automatic waveform cruise. Engineers could select the suitable memory depth and operate B-series oscilloscope with shortcut menu for the special feature.
| 3、Menu Invisibility Feature – Single Press Available|
Press the Multifunctional key F0 to make menu invisible on the right side, enabling engineers to analyze waveform in full-screen Window.
| 4、 High Refresh Rate and DPO-equivalent Wave Display|
In addition to the high refresh rate (2500 frames), the DST series B help engineers gain insights into details for TEKWAY’s wave-retentive technology, which is equivalent to conventional analog oscilloscope’s performance based on frequency-adjustable electron beams in any complex environment.
| IV. A Range of Trigger Modes |
Besides usual edge-trigger mode, the series B adopt advanced trigger modes, including alternate, slope, overtime, to enhance measurement efficiency.
| 1、Hardware-Enabled Automatic Trigger Algorithm|
With hardware-enabled automatic trigger algorithm, the DST Series B oscilloscopes execute automatic trigger of low-frequency & long hold-off-time signals. Even frequency is as low as 0.6Hz (as shown in the figure below), the refreshes on the screen are continually produced, ensuring unique measurement experience equivalent to analog oscilloscope.

| 2、 Trigger Hold-off Function|
The Trigger Hold-off function is to generate stable display of complex waveforms (such as pulse trains) comparable to analog feature of B-series oscilloscope. For example, if the hold-off time is 2S, the oscilloscope will perform the automatic trigger in 2 seconds, and then signal triggers after the 2-second hold-off time.

The alternate trigger is comparable to analog oscilloscope, which displays two signals with different frequencies on the same screen. The trigger modes possessed in two channels (CH1 and CH2) could be combined together to conduct any possible analysis.
| 4、Overtime Trigger -- Based on Digital Time Interpolation Technique|
The DST series B oscilloscopes provides overtime trigger function, based on TEKWAY’s unique digital time interpolation technique. With this function, a stable display of waveforms could be acquired within the pulse period while setting the overtime period for any relatively wide (positive or negative) pulse. While input signal carries other signals, stable waveforms are acquirable by adjusting the trigger time.
| 5、Slope Trigger (Rise and Fall Times)|
Use slope trigger to sense triggers regarding to rise/ fall time. The mode help measure rise/fall time more flexibly and accurately than edge trigger mode.
| 6、Sensitive Trigger on Small Signal (Amplitude)|
The DST series B oscilloscopes support small-signal-trigger. For low-frequency signals, the peak-to-peak value for trigger shall be at least 0.8mv. See the figure below.
Unlike other comparable oscilloscopes, TEKWAY’s oscilloscopes can not only automatically enable the bandwidth limitation in measurement, but support high-frequency small signal trigger mode to tackle measurement with minimum bandwidth and amplitude base. In addition, engineers could select bandwidth limit switch for their respective measurement requirement.

| 7、Accurate AutoSet Function|
The DST Series B oscilloscopes combines both Auto Set function (detecting sine, pulse, video) and small-signal (peak-to-peak value less than 4mv) automatic measurement, enabling convenient detection of small signals and effective small-signal trigger mode via a keystroke.
